Cookie policy
Which cookies www.odore.com uses, why, and how to change your choice.
01 What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage and tracking pixels, work in the same way, and this policy covers them too. It covers www.odore.com and should be read alongside our privacy policy. The Odore platform at app.odore.com is covered by your organisation's agreement with us and by the notices shown in the platform. Brand programme sites and apps run on the Odore platform use cookies and similar technologies to sign you in and run the programme; the programme explains any that need your consent.
02 Before you choose, and your choice
We set no cookies before you make a choice, and none at all if you click Reject. We store your choice in your browser's local storage under the name odore-consent, with the date you made it, so we do not ask on every page. We ask again after 12 months. This record stays in your browser and is not sent to us.
03 Analytics cookies (only if you accept)
If you click Accept, we use analytics tools to understand how the Website is used: which pages are read, how visitors find them and where pages could work better. They never load before you accept. The analytics tools we use now are listed below.
Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to see which pages are read and how visitors find the Website. Google's advertising features and Google signals are switched off, and we keep Analytics data for 14 months.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google, on odore.com | Distinguishes one visitor from another | 2 years |
_ga_<ID> | Google, on odore.com | Keeps track of the current visit | 2 years |
04 Advertising cookies (only if you accept)
If you click Accept, we also use advertising tools that measure the results of our ads and let us show ads to people who have visited the Website, unless your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. The advertising tools we use now are listed below.
LinkedIn Insight Tag. We load the LinkedIn Insight Tag, unless your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. It measures the results of our LinkedIn ads and lets us show ads on LinkedIn to people who have visited the Website. LinkedIn does not share your identity with us; we see aggregated reports only. Most of these cookies are set on linkedin.com, and some only if you are signed in to LinkedIn. LinkedIn may change the names it uses; its own cookie table has the current list.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
li_fat_id | LinkedIn, on odore.com | Links a visit from a LinkedIn ad to a later conversion | 30 days |

05 Your choices
You can accept or reject on the banner, and change your mind at any time using Your privacy choices at the bottom of every page. If you reject after accepting, we stop the tags and delete the analytics and advertising cookies set on our domain. Cookies a provider sets on its own domain (such as linkedin.com) are controlled in your settings with that provider, or you can clear them in your browser. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out and never load advertising cookies.
06 Changes and contact
We may add, replace or remove analytics and advertising tools within the categories above. When we do, we update the lists on this page and ask for your choice again before any new tool loads. Questions: info@odore.com.
